файл HOSTS в windows
Для определения соответствия IP-адреса домену WINDOWS прежде чем использовать DNS обращается к файлу hosts. Даже если в DNS указан отличный от файла hosts IP windows все равно будет использовать тот IP, который указан в файле hosts.
Для редактирования файла hosts подойдет любой текстовый редактор. В WindowsXP он находится по следующему пути: c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Откроем файл и поссмотрим его содержимое:

Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. Обратите внимание, что перед каждой строчкой стоит символ #, - это означает что данная строчка не рассматривается.
Допустим для домена domen.com нужно прописать IP 81.177.22.11, после прописывания файл hosts будет выглядеть так:
